Kim Sproles, President / Founder
Kim is the founder of Healing Hearts Respite Foundation, which she started in April of 2015. She was inspired by friends and members of her community that have lost their children and loved ones to cancer or other genetic diseases. She was very moved by their strength, their faith in God and always willing to help others while in the midst of their own storm. Kim wanted to help her friends and neighbors find peace and make memories with their loved ones at at a place that is very special to her, the beach. “I have been very blessed to spend many peaceful days and have made amazing memories with my family at the beach. I wanted to share our special place with those who are hurting and need a healing heart”. Kim has a strong faith in God and a huge heart to want to help others.
Kim is blessed with an amazing Husband of 18 years and three wonderful children, Brandon, Owen and Madelynn. In addition to founding Healing Hearts Respite Foundation, Kim is the Vice President of Greco Masonry, a Masonry contracting company serving Northern Virginia, that her husband started more than 20 years ago. Kim has served as the controller of their business since it’s inception.
Kim had served on the board of directors for Helping Haitian Angels as their Treasurer for six years, she stepped down from this position to focus on Healing Hearts Respite Foundation. Kim currently serves on the Advisory Board for The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation as a financial advisor.
Through her years of accounting and bookkeeping experience she also likes to help other non-profits in her local community with their bookkeeping needs.
