In May of 2019, we hosted 5 families that are living with loved ones of EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome). A chronic, painful and debilitating illness. This was the second year hosting the EDS retreat. This year’s retreat was focus on families and the spouses. EDS is grueling and it never ends. Medical care is scarce because not much is known on how to treat the symptoms. This group has endured hundreds of surgeries and miles of travel to see specialists.
Faith focused is how they endure! Hope, Strength and Love from our perfect creator. The only Hope that comes from Jesus Christ our Savior.
The families were from Arizona, Boston and Virginia.
