July 4th week of 2018 we hosted the Noe family from Virginia. Eric who is 17 has intestinal failure and CIPO. He’s been TPN dependent for 4.5 years now. Eric is currently in the process of preparing to be listed for intestinal transplant.
On Eric’s bucket list was to go fishing on a boat. Our friends at “Backin Up Fishing Charters” treated Eric and his family to a memorable day of fishing. They caught over 50lbs of ribbon fish.
Eric has the best smile and radiates kindness. This kid has the biggest happy heart. It is pure joy knowing him.
Some of our Healing Hearts team had the pleasure of watching fourth of July fire works with family, we also treated the family to a home cooked southern seafood boil.
Please keep Eric in prayer as he continues to fight through his intestinal failure and awaits a transplant.
