Their son Josiah was diagnosed with leukemia in 2017. The family was desperate for a break and change of scenery. Their stay was during the height of Covid. The doctors encouraged them to make the trip all the way from Minnesota. Precautions were taken for their travel and our respite home had been carefully sanitized in preparation for their stay.
